I was thrilled to sing this one with my friend Lilly, who was visiting, and we had a lot of fun singing together. Life Is For Living

My cover of Life Is For Living by Barclay James Harvest (1980, album Turn the Tide). It’s an optimistic, uplifting and inspiring song with a catchy melody, emphasizing themes of freedom, love, and embracing life.
The song was performed by Barclay James Harvest during a historic free concert on August 30, 1980, on the steps of the Reichstag in West Berlin, just meters from the Berlin Wall, and, as a result, took on a special, symbolic meaning for the Eastern Bloc countries. (more…)
