Here’s my cover of Come Away With Me (Norah Jones, album Come Away With Me, 2002). Come Away With Me is an intimate, soft, and very minimalistic love song that revolves around escape and a sense of safety and comfort. It was the collaboration song on Singeo.com this month.
I found it quite a challenge to sing. It is fairly high for me, and in order to capture the intimate atmosphere properly, I had to explore a very different kind of vocal approach. Hans did the production and video as always.
