Top of the World by The Carpenters (Terri’s choice for the WSC on Singeo). This song is a cheerful love song by The Carpenters, released in 1972. It expresses the feeling of overwhelming happiness and gratitude inspired by love. With its catchy melody and optimistic lyrics, the song became one of the duo’s biggest hits and remains a classic example of their soft pop style. (more…)
Gods of the Dust is my second song. It was written for the Singeo Song Writing Challenge. This time, we had to write a song in a style we had never worked in before. For the Weekly Song Challenge on Singeo, I chose Scarborough Fair (originally sung by Simon & Garfunkel). I recorded multiple vocal layers for it, as we also sing this song in harmony with our choir. U are so beautiful – originally sung by Joe Cocker. Derek asked us for an interpretation of a well-known chosen song for the Weekly Song Challenge on Singeo.
U are so beautiful – à l’origine par Joe Cocker. Derek nous a demandé une interprétation d’une chanson connue de notre choix pour le défi hebdomadaire de chanson sur Singeo.
My version of Nothing can change this love, originally sung by Sam Cooke. This was Jenn’s choice for the Weekly Song Challenge on Singeo.
