Morning Mood by Edvard Grieg. Level 8 from the Method.
Across the universe by The Beatles. This was Jenn’s choice for the Weekly Song Challenge on Singeo. It was too short in time to play (in Db!) and sing together, so I’ve sung along with my own track. I’ve made an iRealPro accompany band with the chords and played along on the piano. Hans spiced it up with our beautiful sunsets.

C’était trop court en temps pour jouer (en Db !) et chanter ensemble, alors j’ai chanté en même temps avec ma propre piste. J’ai créé un accompagnement avec iRealPro en utilisant les accords et j’ai joué au piano.

The Scientist by Coldplay. This was Jenn’s choice for the Weekly Song Challenge. I didn’t know the song, but as it is not so difficult to learn, I thought I might give it a go.
I played the chords on my piano with an extramidi-track which is used with Arctic swells by Spitfire audio combined with their choir and the bass trombones by the BBC orchestra. I’ve made the base and drums in iRealpro. To spice things up I added a lower and higher harmony. The images are from the fields around our house in summer. Thanks to Jenn, for introducing me to the Scientist. I really enjoyed to sing and play this song.

Je ne connaissais pas la chanson, mais comme elle n’est pas si difficile à apprendre, j’ai pensé que je pourrais essayer.
J’ai joué les accords sur mon piano avec une piste midi supplémentaire qui est utilisée avec Arctic swells de Spitfire audio combiné avec leur chœur et les trombones basses de l’orchestre de la BBC. J’ai fait la basse et la batterie dans iRealpro.
Pour pimenter les choses, j’ai ajouté une harmonie plus basse et plus haute.

Saddest Thing I Know by Cherry Poppin’ Daddies. This was Joe’s choice for us this week in the Weekly Song Challenge on Singeo. A band unknown to me. So lots and lots of listening and trying to capture the feeling of the song. Difficult because with jazz you don’t have much to hold on to. There was also no sheet music. But it was a fantastic song to learn. Thanks to fellow student Joe who introduced me to the Cherry Poppin’ Daddies.
Saddest Thing I Know des Cherry Poppin’ Daddies. C’était le choix de Joe pour nous cette semaine dans le Weekly Song Challenge sur Singeo. Un groupe que je ne connaissais pas. Alors, beaucoup, beaucoup d’écoute et d’essais pour capturer l’atmosphère de la chanson. Difficile parce qu’avec le jazz, on n’a pas grand-chose à quoi s’accrocher. Il n’y avait pas non plus de partition. Mais c’était une chanson fantastique à apprendre. Merci à Joe, un camarade étudiant, qui m’a fait découvrir les Cherry Poppin’ Daddies.
