My cover of Hey There Delilah by Plain White T’s (2006) . It tells the story of a long-distance relationship, sung from the perspective of a guy reassuring Delilah that their love is strong despite the miles between them. It became a huge hit worldwide, known for its gentle melody and emotional, conversational lyrics. This song also really called for a harmony, so why not? Hans made the video again. It was Sue’s choice for the WSC. (more…)
My cover of Let It Be, with me accompanying myself on piano. It had been on my list for quite a while, but always had to make way for other projects. Richard’s choice this week on singeo was a great opportunity to finally record it. I’ve put the chords into iReal Pro as a guide for rhythm and playing – it’s a bit slower than the original.

Here’s my cover of Barbara Ann, the classic tune made famous by The Beach Boys! Jenn challenged us at Singeo.com to pick a song that includes a name, and I challenged myself even more by singing all the harmonies to capture that signature Beach Boys sound. (more…)
My cover of I Scare Myself, inspired by Thomas Dolby’s haunting version of this classic song by Dan Hicks. I’ve been drawn to the tension and vulnerability in his interpretation — that mix of fear, emotion, and introspection. The challenge, set by Joe for the Weekly Song Challenge on Singeo.com, was to sing a song by Thomas Dolby — and this one immediately stood out to me. It truly pushed me to explore a different kind of expression. I hope you can feel the atmosphere and intensity that make this song so unique. (more…)
